LIPCUAT™ is a MULTIFUNCTIONAL, POSITIVELY CHARGED CARRIER with a high adhesion to hair fiber. LIPCUAT™ is an “Intelligent Nano-Particle” that sticks to hair fiber in the areas where it is most damaged.

DESIGNED TO CARRY

LIPCUAT™ is designed to CARRY a wide variety of active substances that are beneficial to the health and beauty of different types of hair and help treat hair conditions. These include vitamins, amino acids, oils, plant extracts, sunscreens, silicones, etc. LIPCUAT™ is also designed to increase the bioavailability of the transported active components in the hair fiber.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL

LIPCUAT™ is a MULTIFUNCTIONAL CARRIER, since it can enable a variety of functions (sunscreen, antioxidant, moisturizer, enhancer, thermal protection, etc.) and can simultaneously transport several active components.

POSITIVE CHARGE

LIPCUAT™ nano particels have a POSITIVE CHARGE. It is made of a membrane of specially selected soybean lecithin phospholipids associated with specific cationic polymers, and has a submicron particle size (between 110 and 300 nanometers), which allows it to achieve high stability and to penetrate into the hair fiber.

Modes of action

Selective adhesion

When hair is wet, the areas where the hair cuticles have disappeared due to abuse have a greater negative charge. Since it has a positive charge, LIPCUAT™ adheres strongly to these damaged areas of the hair surface, and will resist rinsing.

Penetration into damaged areas

Thanks to its small size (on the order of nanometers), LIPCUAT™ penetrates into the damaged intercuticular zones of the hair fiber, resulting in a sealing effect that prevents drying and the loss of lipids.

Merging effect

Whilst hair drying, LIPCUAT™ particles fuse with the hair fibers to form a protective and conditioning film. Encapsulated substances are released, penetrating the depths of the hair fiber.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The LIPCUAT™ particles are nanodispersions in an aqueous medium of low to medium viscosity, which makes them very easy to handle and to incorporate into the manufacturing process of shampoos, conditioners, styling creams, hair gels, hair lotions, tinctures, etc.

LIPCUAT™ appears as a semi-translucent to opalescent fluid, with colors ranging from white to amber. LIPCUAT™ particles do not alter the color of the final product being manufactured.

  • Moisturize, lubricate and condition.

  • Reinforce the hair fiber and improve elasticity, avoiding hair loss due to cutting.

  • Facilitate combing and brushing thanks to their antistatic power.

  • Have antioxidant and anti-free radical properites.

  • Help prevent and reduce the irritation that anionic surfactants usually produce.

  • Do not build up on the hair.

  • Give you a shiny and soft hair.

  • The main advantage of LIPCUAT™ is the increased Bioavailability of the encapsulated active components once incorporated into the final product.

  • Compared to using them in their free state, encapsulating active components in LIPCUAT™ nanoparticles gives greater adhesiveness, improved surface coating, and higher penetration into the hair fiber.
  • LIPCUAT™ nanoparticles, once attached to hair, retain the encapsulated active substances, preventing them from being eliminated when rinsing.
